We condemn the institution of lynching while failing to condemn its legacy. Today a disproportionate number of African Americans sit on Oregon's death row. The same racism that killed Alonzo Tucker is still alive today. Through our action to end the legacy of lynching in Oregon, we can rewrite the ending to Alonzo Tucker's story.
